Especially how the startup scripts are managed, that's the biggest
difference.
And because SuSE uses a special setup tool called yast there are some
strange things in the /etc/ files, but mainly you can install and setup
all programs on a SuSE if you know where to change. SuSE is great if you
are new to Linux or not a total professional, but you can still work
with it when growing into the topic!
