Here is my entire configuration:
Apache 1.3.4 with a basic configuration
Digital UNIX 4.0D server
JDK 1.1.7 from Digital
JSDK 2.0
(GNU products were not used during JServ installation)
For my servlet, I used JServ 1.0b3 with a quite basic configuration.
When I upgraded JServ to 1.0b4 I have kept my configuration files,
changing a few things:
- I have added "ApJServLogLeve" in httpd.conf
- I have modified "Apache-JServ.jar" to "ApacheJServ.jar" in the
CLASSPATH environment value, in jserv.properties
I've got 2 zones and I haven't changed my zone.properties at all.
I've got a lot of Servlets, working fine with JServ 1.0b3. Some are
very basic, some are more complex, accessing a database through a JDBC
connection.
The installation of JServ 1.0b4 were successful and I can access to the
JServ 1.0b4 Status page. But when I want to access to my servlets
(anyone) or to the http://myserver/jserv/engine/0/ page, my browser
stay locked and finally a message box appears saying that the document
contains no data.
I can't tell you more because Apache and JServ trace files does not
indicate any errors.
So, have you ever met this kind of incident ? Every product used in my
configuration are compatible ?
Thanks for your answers...
