Your sysadmin smokes crack. <smile> It is a config issue. Since you didn't
bother to post any of your configuration information, there is nothing more
that we can do to help you other than to tell you that SSL is at the
protocol level and Apache/Apache JServ is at the application level and thus
according to the OSI model, they have nothing to do with each other and will
work just fine.
