I think previously, you had to compile the source code. But there is a dll
file that you can just download if you don't have MS C++. The trouble is
that you need to download using ftp NOT http, otherwise things get all
screwed up. Look inside the FAQ at the Java-Apache website. There is a very
good How-To that explains how to install it, but you must follow it WORD FOR
WORD. The installation process is fraught with difficulties. It took me 3
days to setup the damned thing, and if I had to do it again, I think I'll
shoot myself :)
