Hey all,
I've been getting some strange Jserv errors occurring with my
Apache-Jserv-SSL server. It doesn't happen all the time, but it still
happens on a regular basis.
Here's my configuration:
Apache 1.3.3
Apache-Jserv 1.0b3
apache_1.3.3+ssl_1.29
SSLeay-0.9.0b
I compiled the entire distribution with a locally compiled version of
gcc.
Platform:
Dec Alpha 800 256 MB Memory, 10GIG disk, running Digital UNIX
4.0D
I've performed some kernel tuning for internet servers as stipulated on
COMPAQ's website which hasn't elevated the problem.
Here are some of the inconsistent errors that I'm getting:
Apache error log:
[Mon Jun 21 08:35:48 1999] [error] [client 209.197.144.18] Premature end of
script headers: /servlets/new3web.DispServlet

I have another Linux server that's got an ancient version of Jserv running
on it, and it seems to work just fine. I suppose my next test is to
compile everything on a Linux server and see if I get the same errors.
However, I really want to use my DEC hardware with it's "native" OS. I
suppose I could also just install Linux on the box, but I've had tons of
problems with that as well...*sigh*
Does anyone have any ideas? I've been banging my head on this on for
a while. I hope this isn't just an DEC Alpha glitch...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys...
