I have two nearly identical Linux/Blackdown1.2pre_v2/JServ1.0 setups.
The development server runs RedHat 5.2(w/ kernel 2.2.6) and production
server runs Debian 2.1 (also w/ kernel 2.2.6). The problem is, while
RedHat-setup gives no error messages at all at JServ startup,
Debian-based server puts this in Apache error_log:

"ApacheJServ/1.0: Exception creating the server socket:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use"

iFAQ was of no help, there are no java-processes running prior to JServ
startup.

Servlets work just fine, so it does not seem to be a fatal error, but it
worries me nevertheless. Has anyone else seen this?
