I am actively using the "pre-v2" prerelease of Blackdown JDK 1.2 for all
my development, and have a couple of low-volume servlet apps running on
it in production, with no notable difficulties. I'm going to be doing
some testing on a much more intensive servlet-based app later this
summer to see if it is up to snuff -- otherwise, I will temporarily have
to host the app on NT :-( until a suitable 1.2 environment for Linux is
available.
