Yes, we had no problems with the Java WebServer on a uniprocessor machine.
The problem only surfaced on our production machine. I was hoping maybe
someone had tried this, because the production server is the only quad
processor machine we have at the moment...

Apache 1.3.6 and JServ 1.0b5 are running great on my NT box. It is single
processor though. You may want to just try it out. It took me about 15
minutes to set up. I just wish the setup on Linux was as easy : ) It took
me about three hours of trying and reading through questions on
java.apache.org to get it right.

Subject: NT + Apache + Jserv + quad Xeon
--
Greetings,
We are evaluating webservers capable of supporting our JDBC servlets
on Windows NT. MS IIS has proven insufficient. Sun's Java Web Server
has a bug which prevents it from running on our production machine, a
Dell quad Xeon processor box. Has anyone here run Apache + Jserv on
such a system?
I believe it should work, but then again, I didn't see any reason why
Sun's webserver wouldn't work... Any input or suggestions on the best
servlet environment for NT would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Russ
