the ApJserv configure script looks for "[apache_path]/sbin/apxs".
So when you compile apache with --layout=GNU, the sbin dir is
created, if you specify no layout, no sbin dir is created.
Quick Fix : just link [apache_path]/sbin to [apache_path]/bin,
that should do the job.

Hi Users,
I am working on solaris 2.7 intell edition and try to installing Apache

Jserv 1.0b3 with Apache Server 1.1.3. I have configured Apache with=20
--enable-rule=3DSHARED_CORE
--enable-shared=3Dmax
--enable-module=3Dso
It works fine. but when I am configuring Jserv with
--with-apache-install=3D/path/to/apache/installation
--with-jdk-home=3D/path/to/java
--with-jsdk=3D/path/to/jsdk
--enable-apache-conf
it gives the following error
.... aclocal missing
....autoconf missing
....automake missing
....autoheader missing
....make info missing
...
..
..
....Apache directory .. configure:error: does not have DSO support.
can any body tell from where to get autoconf and automake for solaris =
intel 2.7 and what's the reason for DSO not supported.
