And in my case, I just don't get logs. JServ is running fine, the JVM has permission to write to the file, apparently it's opening it okay (otherwise it'd throw an exception, right?), but nothing appears. I've seen a couple of other people post to the mailing list with the same problem. I've posted a couple of times, about six months apart.
