I have just installed Apache and ApacheJServ on Window 95 for the first time
I have previously successfully installed it under Linux.
I have no spaces in any of my path names.
When I tried replacing paths and filenames with 8.3 eqivalents Apache wouldn't start.
It's Win95 so I don't know how I can test or change log file privileges.
My mod_jserv.log has :
[29/08/1999 22:17:16:380] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host 127.0.0.1:8007
[29/08/1999 22:17:16:380] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
[29/08/1999 22:17:16:380] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via protocol
"ajpv11"
Apache 1.3.9
ApacheJServ 1.0
Sun JDK 1.2.1
JSDK 2.0
Suggestions welcome.
