I am running RH 6.0, Blackdown JDK-1.2-prev2 and ApacheJServ/1.0.1-dev-1, all
was working find until I tried to add another virtual host and a new servlet
zone.
I am doing the automatic start and I now get this in syslog:
[Mon Aug 30 21:47:04 1999] [notice] Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) (Red Hat/Linux)
ApacheJServ/1.0.1-dev-1 PHP/3.0.9 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Mon Aug 30 21:47:08 1999] [notice] child pid 30307 exit signal Broken pipe
(13)
JServ dies almost instantly.
What is weird, if I run JServ by hand:
su -c "/usr/jdk1.2/bin/java -classpath
/usr/lib/classes/ApacheJSSI.jar:/usr/lib/apache/ApacheJServ.jar:/usr/lib/classes/jsdk.jar
org.apache.jserv.JServ /etc/httpd/conf/jserv/jserv.properties" nobody
Everything works fine. So is it safe to assume the config files are ok?
Any ideas?
How can I turn on more debugging so I can find out why the jvm is dieing?
(I have all the log.* active and logging turned on)
