----------------------------- Please read the FAQ! <http://java.apache.org/faq/> ----------------------------- I am attempting to set up Apache JServ using the microsoft VM, jview.exe. The only change I've made so far is to alter the wrapper.bin property in the jserv.properties file to read: " wrapper.bin=c:\winnt\jview.exe". Trying to connect to the sample IsItWorking applet gives the following error in mod_jserv.log: [02/09/1999 13:41:15:747] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host 127.0.0.1:8007 [02/09/1999 13:41:15:747] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail [02/09/1999 13:41:15:747] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via protocol "ajpv11" Has anyone else out there configured JServ to use the Microsoft VM successfully? If so, what steps am I missing. Thanks. For those that are curious as to *why* I'm trying to use the Microsoft VM, I need to access a legacy COM dll for some web development. Microsoft provides some nice COM-to-Java tools but they necessitate using their own virtual machine. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Please read the FAQ! <http://java.apache.org/faq/> To subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives and Other: <http://java.apache.org/main/mail.html> Problems?: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
