I have successfully installed Apache JServ 1.0 on a Stronghold 2.4.2 server. I have
gone through all the steps, and the final step was a recompilation of Stronghold.
After doing this I tested the servlets, and I got the error "Internal Server Error".

After reading through the mailing list archives and the FAQ, I tried to move my conf
directory into ServerRoot/jserv/conf and adjusting the files consequently. I finally
got the jserv status page, but when i try to access http://myserver/example/Hello or
http://myserver/example/ (any file, whether it exists or not) I get an Internal Server
Error.

The responses in the archives were of little help because they all seem to be Windows
based. I am running on a Digital Unix V4.0B box. Does this have anything to do with
permissions?

I have checked the paths in my configuration files - and they all seem to be correct.

I will attach excerpts from my log files.

jserv.log:
[02/09/1999 15:07:20:848] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host 127.0.0.1:8007

[02/09/1999 15:07:20:849] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via protocol

(Nothing in Server Log)
