Using Red Hat 6.0 with Apache 1.3.6 with jserv 1.0 on Intel.
Was using blackdown java without problems, but wanted
to try kaffe to see if I could maybe run on the MIPS platform.
Same config with kaffe as the JVM and now get the dreaded:
[08/09/1999 08:19:58:451] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host
127.0.0.1:8007
[08/09/1999 08:19:58:451] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: function connection fail
[08/09/1999 08:20:08:550] (EMERGENCY) wrapper: JServ (7190) didn't die
nicely, killing it
I went through the faq to verify all the issues people have reported
related to this message.
My jserv property class path stuff (which is the only thing I changed) is:
wrapper.bin=/usr/local/bin/java
wrapper.bin.parameters=-mx48m
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/share/kaffe/Klasses.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/share/kaffe/pizza.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/share/kaffe/pjava.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/share/kaffe/servlet.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/apache/share/jserv/ApacheJServ.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/apache/share/jserv/ApacheJServSSI.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/kit/bin/classes/postgresql.jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/kit/bin/classes/Kit.jar
Has anyone gotten kaffe working? Any clues will be truly appreciated.
Once I get this running, I'll happily put the resolution in the FAQ so
we all don't have to keep doing the same thing trying to get kaffe
to work.
