Hello all.
Sorry if this question has been asked previously.. but I have searched
through the archive but couldn't find this question..
I am new to Java Servlet and JServ... The question is Can I install
JServ 1.0 on JDK 1.2??? Because the thing is, I have already installed
JDK 1.2 on Win NT 4.0 and running Apache 1.3.6 web server. Now today I
tried to install JServ 1.0 and during installation it has asked me for a
path to a file called 'jsdk.jar' which is for Java Servlet Development
Kit 2.0... But as far as I know, jdk 1.2 itself includes support for
java servlet.. u don't need to get jsdk separately with jdk 1.2..
so, question again is, can I install JServ 1.0 with jdk 1.2??? or I need
jdk 1.1.x with separate jsdk 2.0??? is there any work around to install
with jdk 1.2???
Any suggestions are appreciated..
Thanks in advance..
Niral
