If that's the "socket in use" java.net.BindException problem then yes, we've
seen it.  However, and I think this was also suggested in a previous thread,
in our case it was due to someone else previously starting jserv without
anyone realizing it so there was already a process which had bound the port
in question.  Everything connected fine once that process was killed.  Good
luck ...
