We cannot guess what you are trying to do:
#1. Include version numbers for all software.
#2. Include relevant configuration settings.
#3. Include full descriptions of the problem.

I ran across that last evening.  Another question:
I could get the initial page working within the server, however, the Hello
servlet wouldn't work.  I noticed that the jserv_mod was activated, however,
it wouldn't bring up a page.  What would be some of the steps that I need to
revisit???

"make" is implied in the "make install" so it is not necessary.

Also, make sure you using GNU make or you will have problems.
