It does have a search feature!
We cannot guess what you are trying to do:
#1. Include version numbers for all software.
#2. Include relevant configuration settings.
#3. Include full descriptions of the problem.
Got Linux? Seeing lots of java processes?

No. What WAS 1.1 is now going to be another version or another product
(jakarta/tomcat).
> Does 2.1 support have something to do with Jakarta?
Yes.
Here is the lowdown of how things stand TODAY:
Apache JServ 1.0 supports JSDK 2.0 ONLY.
Apache JServ 1.1 supports JSDK 2.0 ONLY.
Jakarta Project was formed to merge Sun's JSDK (including their
servletrunner servlet engine) with Craig's work on a future version of
Apache JServ (which will be named Tomcat). That future version will support
the latest and greatest versions of the JSDK and will also include support
for the latest versions of JSP. It will be the reference implementation for
all servlet engines (commercial and open source). Not only that, be we will
also have a testing suite so that all engines can correctly claim they fully
support the servlet api by passing all the tests.
Jakarta source code is due any day now. The amount of time it takes to
produce the next version is unknown and cannot be guestimated.
