I am using Apache 1.3.9, JServ1.0, JDK1.1.7 (native threads) on Linux
(2.2.12 kernel) running on x86 (SMP)...
I am getting the following error message in error_log:
Exception creating the server socket: java.net.BindException: Address
already in use
This error is addressed in the FAQ, but the answers there don't apply to my
situation (they suggest there is another JVM running... there is not)...
What is the nature of this error? I have another system, identical except
that it's running Apache1.3.6 and it works great.
I would have checked the mailing list archives but I could not find a way to
search...
I'm not on the list, so if you could reply privately, that would be great.
