Do you THAT wasn't the first thing I've done (even before downloading it) ?!
However, the Windows section has only ONE relevant configuration change
(AFAIU): the change of protocol (which of course I've done). That doesn't
tell or explain why JServ 1.1b1 doesn't like D:/... paths.
Maybe I should ask a more vague question like : "What changes do you have to
make to your configuration files when upgrading from 1.0 to 1.1b1?"...

Again, the configuration is : Apache 1.3.9, previous JServ 1.0, trying to
JServ 1.1b1 on Win98.
