Don't make us guess your problem!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Configuration: [Sat Oct 16 22:01:43 1999] [notice] Apache/1.3.9 (Unix) ApacheJServ/1.1b3 configured -- resuming normal operations Sparc/Solaris 2.6 When I start apache, I get the following line in mod_jserv.log: [16/10/1999 22:01:42:011] (EMERGENCY) jserv_mmap: cant open (null) errno=14 Perhaps related is a problem shutting down apache (this is new since I installed from CVS, leading me to believe it's related). Here's an example of the command line: root@gozer:~/java-apache/jserv# /etc/init.d/apache stop /etc/init.d/apache stop: httpd stopped root@gozer:~/java-apache/jserv# /etc/init.d/apache start /etc/init.d/apache start: httpd (pid 24303) already running root@gozer:~/java-apache/jserv# And the error_log file gives: [Sat Oct 16 22:29:11 1999] [warn] child process 24305 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM [Sat Oct 16 22:29:11 1999] [warn] child process 24306 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM [Sat Oct 16 22:29:11 1999] [warn] child process 24307 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM [Sat Oct 16 22:29:11 1999] [warn] child process 24308 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM [Sat Oct 16 22:29:11 1999] [warn] child process 24309 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM [Sat Oct 16 22:29:11 1999] [warn] child process 24325 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM [Sat Oct 16 22:29:16 1999] [error] child process 24305 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Sat Oct 16 22:29:16 1999] [error] child process 24306 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Sat Oct 16 22:29:16 1999] [error] child process 24307 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Sat Oct 16 22:29:16 1999] [error] child process 24308 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Sat Oct 16 22:29:16 1999] [error] child process 24309 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Sat Oct 16 22:29:16 1999] [error] child process 24325 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Sat Oct 16 22:29:32 1999] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down Any ideas?
