Apache JServ version: Apache_JServ-1.0b3
Servlet API version: JSDK 2.0
Apache Web Server version: 1.3.6
OS: Solaris 2.7 on a Sun UltraSPARC 60

Can anyone tell me how to send myself an e-mail message if an ERROR
entry is appended to the mod_jserv.log file ?

Is there something in the jserv.properties that I can set so that it
pipes just ERROR messages to an e-mail address ?

An ERROR entry in the mod_jserv.log file looks as follows:

[22/10/1999 12:09:37:332] (ERROR) ajp11: Servlet Error:
javax.servlet.ServletException:
[22/10/1999 12:09:37:332] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "ajpv11"

I am catching exceptions inside of servlets, but I want to be able to
restart the servlet engine as soon as it becomes
unable to handle requests because of an error.

Thanks,

Annette
