Well 41Megs for a windows program is nothing hehehe... after all a hello
world example app compiled in Visual Studio is like 300K... but isn't
Solaris a form of unix? shouldn't that be a little smaller... what does it
do?

But netscape is sort of dying... I don't realy know anyone besides the US
government that would spend thousands of dollars in licensing fees for
someting that can be acquired for free with source-code... maybe their are
places that run iPlanet... maybe it is slightly faster then Apache (is
it?)... but that won't be for long... I think Sun-Netscape are just trying
to hold on just a little longer to their web-server market share before
having to shut it down.... netscape used to be the leader in browsers... but
now they make no money selling those... and the use of their servers is
decling... the only future sun has in the web-server market IMHO is with
that java server... I don't know how good it is... but it sounds allright...
and even though its the Unix world... and they should know better... money
is more powerful then principles (look at Apple selling itself to microsoft
like a 20 dollar whore to an alabama senator)... and I guess they think
their is a lot of it in this business... and it doesn't seem like it anymore
with everything going OS and apache having such a reputation the only way
they can compete is go OS which defeats the purpose of their development
efforts... I don't know though... I might be wrong...

Goodnight

Stou Sandalski

P.S.
Sorry about this being so off topic but it seems like this industry is
turning into the OIL business of the Rockafeller days...
