I have a working setup on one server but I am trying to configure JServ fo
r a server that was setup by someone else and not having much luck.
My current platform is
FreeBSD3.3
Apache1.3.9
JServ1.0
I am getting a can't bind to port 80 reseting to 8007, then a protocol
failure error.
[01/11/1999 17:21:41:741] (INFO) ajp11: 80: invalid port, reset to default
8007
[01/11/1999 17:22:56:400] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host
130.102.64.175:8007
[01/11/1999 17:22:56:400] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
Why would JServ be trying to bind to port 80?
Anyhow, as most of the Apache config wase done by someone else I thought I
would grab the new JServ1.3b3 to test and see if that would help. But when
I try to compile I get an error message that it couldn't find GNU make. I
have even put this in my path and I still get that message.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
