I think the path is fine. The beginning of the path is:
/usr/local /usr/local/bin /usr/ucb /usr/bsd /usr/sbin /usr/etc . /usr/bin /bin
/usr/bin/X11
/usr/local/bin is definitely in the path before /usr/bin and "which" shows:
> which gcc
/usr/local/bin/gcc
> which cc
/usr/bin/cc
When I couldn't get it to work, I tried downloading and configuring JServ 1.0.
And it finds gcc! How are the 1.0 and 1.1 configures different with regard to
checking for gcc? I'd rather use JServ 1.1 if I could. Is there anything else
I can check?
Thanks,
Ross
