WHEN YOU POST, include all relevant version numbers, log files,

The two instances are separate.
Production Apache is installed in /usr/local/apache
Developement Apache is installed in /space/apachedev
Each instance has its own set of configuration files.
The original(Development) instance works fine. I just installed the
Production instance, but can not get the servlets to run on it.
I changed both port settings to 15643, but it still doesn't work.
