Basically, when a servlet is reloaded, the destroy() method is called. This is not the case when my server is shutdown and I believe it is related to the error_log entry: [Fri Nov 19 16:45:29 1999] [emerg] JServ: wrapper: JServ (10823) didn't die nicely, killing it If anyone knows the cause of this error or how to have JServ die nicely, I would greatly appreciate receiving your help.
