I don't know if it's a bug. 

But why use obfusicate anyway? Obfusication doesn't
stop a decompiler. FI, jad chews through obfusicated
code like, like... it isn't even obfusicated!

Decompiling has saved my ass a couple of times when
accidentally releasing a uncommitted .java file.
