I've resolved the problem, thanks to jon and Bob Lewis.

Added mail.jar and activation.jar to my wrapper.classpath and the whole
thing works wonderfully now !! 

I didn't know that this was listed under the FAQ (haven't looked at it
for a long time since it stopped functioning).

Anyway, thanks for the help. You guys saved my ass !!
