Brian -

        I'm using IBM's JDK 1.1.8 with no problems... looking at your
jserv.properties - shouldn't wrapper.bin be like this:

wrapper.bin=/usr/local/jdk/bin

        instead of this:

wrapper.bin=/usr/local/jdk/bin/java

        I think you need to specify only the directory holding the java
binary, not the binary itself.

        Yours,

Tom

I tried this. I also changed the owner of java and jsdk. I have tried
3 different jdk versions as well,
Blackstone 1.1.7, Blackstone 1.1.8 and IBM 1.1.8
