Don't make us guess your problem!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- I want to install JServ1.1b3 on NT4, Apache1.3.9 with mod_ssl (the package coming from OpenSA). Until now I had JServ1.0 (on apache 1.3.9 without mod_ssl) running just fine. I cannot get the servlet engine to start. The JServ.log file is not created (the virtual machine does not run at all I suppose) and with every request the I get something like [14/01/2000 13:01:20:953] (EMERGENCY) ajp12: can not connect to host 194.219.168.51:8011 [14/01/2000 13:01:20:953] (EMERGENCY) ajp12: connection fail [14/01/2000 13:01:20:953] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via protocol "ajpv12" in mod_jserv.log The classpath and the binary of the JVM seem to be ok (are the same as the JServ1.0 version). I first thought that this could be a port binding problem because the 1.0 version is still running and they use bot port 8007 to listen, but this is not the case (I changed the port in both configuration files and I also stopped for a while the 1.0 version, but I had the same results). Any idea??
