Turns out the RPM package may be broken; recompiling JServ from sources
appears to solve this problem.  Christian Warden is preparing a new
RPM which will fix the situation; his theory is the current RPM was
compiled with a broken JVM, so the author of that bundle may want to
take a closer look at it.
