ApacheJServ 1.1

Hello,
I'm attempting to get an Apache-JServ server working properly over our
network here at work with the above mentioned environment. I'm almost
there, with one exception. When running the IsItWorking servlet to test
my configuration the Java Apache Project banner at the top only displays
if I use an address which includes "localhost:[port number]", and if I
should provide my machine name such as "dunkel:[port number]" the
servlet appears to load, but the banner fails to display with the alt
tag displaying "Picture broken ? Access this from localhost". I've
configured a similar server on a Solaris box and it works fine using the
machine name + port address and I'm at a loss as to what may be
different between the two installations. Any ideas on where I might
start on this? The source description of the image is
SRC="/jserv/status?image" so I'm guessing my problem has something to do
with the /jserv/ tag not getting aliased properly when access is coming
through my machine address?

thanks in advance for any advise,
Karl
