As far as I know, you *cannot* use autoload with multiple jvm's. Read the
document about load-balancing. You need to start the JVM's (with their
respective JServ's) separately from Apache. Each JServ would have a
separate zone mounted in mod_jserv.conf (it's jserv.conf in JServ 1.1).

Something weird is happening... when I return my config to autoload status,
and try to run any servlets I get this:
[04/02/2000 16:02:02:699] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "ajpv11"
[04/02/2000 16:02:02:699] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "status"
[04/02/2000 16:02:10:225] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host
171.70.58.125:8007
[04/02/2000 16:02:10:225] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
Something is not starting up and I'm stuck...
If anyone has any example setups on multiple JVM's, each one serving a
different Jserv bound to a unique IP, I'd love to see it. If you're
interested in seeing my config's, I'd be happy to send them.
Any help with my config problem would be greatly appreciated. And yes, the
IP is configured properly on this machine ;?)
