Ok, granted I am relatively new to all of this, but, I am working on a
solution that really seems to need to run servlets that launch JSP pages
with attached data and so forth. Now, it appears that under JServ I cannot
do getRequestDispatch calls and do the things that are talked about in the
JSP FAQ (at esperanto.org) on how to do this. This seems to be because of
JServ not supporting the latest jsdk stuff.
Now, it comes down to two things:
1) I am wrong, and it is totally possible to do this kind of thing under
JServ (not using a redirect) and I am just not figuring it out.
2) I need to use Tomcat.
If it is the latter, is there ANY documentation on installing and running
Tomcat? Is there a mailing list?
Thanks in advance, and if any of you has good knowledge on this you can
contact me off list rather than bore all the rest of you!
