I am looking at the On-the-fly Content-Regeneration at
http://www.apache.org/docs/misc/rewriteguide.html and I am wondering if this
can be done with servlets.

Here is the snippet of interest:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-s
RewriteRule ^page\.html$ page.cgi [T=application/x-httpd-cgi,L]

To make the Rewriterule work with servlets, is there a MIME type for servlets?
