Perhaps I'm missing something here, but wouldn't the correct course of
action be to:

1.  Get JSDK2.0 from Sun's site.
2.  REBUILD Apache AND Apache JServ with the "new" jdk.

Even if the previous build of Apache JServ happens to work, I don't see any
advantage to not building it with the same jdk which the servlets are being
compiled with.

not sure, but i think the faq specifically states that this is a bad idea.
something like "you will be tempted to ... but don't do it".
