hi all,
Miller, thx for the help.
I hav some more doubts :
1)Is it necessary that the port on which Apache JServ is bound to should be
the same as that of the Apache http?
2) whenever i try to run httpd, it simply doesnt start, neither does it
return any message/ error on screen. The '$' prompt is returned. The
following is the message logged in var/log/httpd/error_log :
[Thu May 4 17:48:35 2000] [crit] (2)No such file or directory: Apache
JServ enc
ountered a fatal error; check your ApJServLogFile for details if none are
presen
t in this file. Exiting.
I have given the file name in the ApacheJServ file as
<path>/mod_JServ.log
Still this problem is repeated. Following is the contents of mod_JServ .log
file :
[04/05/2000 17:48:35:007] (ERROR) an error returned initializing protocol
"wrapp
er"
[04/05/2000 17:48:35:007] (ERROR) in init all protocols "wrapper" returned
an er
ror
[04/05/2000 17:48:35:007] (EMERGENCY) Error initializing protocols
what could be the possible reason(s) for the above behaviour?
Thanks in advance,
Sriram
