Still wrong, it wasn't "*left out* for the speed". :-)

The simple reason why it isn't in there is because no one implemented it.

I will be eventually working on an XML-RPC based "SessionServer" in Java
that can be used to solve this problem. It will have distribution
capabilities (via XML-RPC as well) and failover so that if one of the
"servers" fails, requests go on to the next server. It will also be able to
do a simple serialization of the data to a file in a background thread. This
won't happen until after Scarab is done though because that is a higher
priority for me right now.
