hi ssonne,
the thing is that jserv is not fully supported by win95 or 98 as they are
basically standalone systems and not servers(like NT).
I got many problems with jserv when i was using it on win 95.then i switched
to win98.
But it didn't work with that too.
So i finally got myself winNT4.0 and it took 10min to install both Apache
and Jserv without any difficulty. And finally i got them working on NT and
still using them.
Try swithing to NT if u want efficiency using apache-jserv combination.
Also it is said that Jserv is not as effecient on windows platform as it is
on linux. So u can also try Red hat Linux etc.
Good Luck.
Vinay
