-- Thanks; That is what I am using, but the FAQ said this was not a good
way; and that the actual tomcat (v.s. jserv) version should both be
available , and easy to make.
I am glad that the regular Jserv version seems to be OK to use, I'll give
up for now on the failed make.
NB: the FAQ says to look at:
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/tomcat/release/v3.0/<os>/<platform>
which does not exist.. there are only /bin and /src directories there...
