I downloaded a JServe 1.1.2.
Compiled it with the SuSE pre-packaged DSO EAPI enabled Apache 1.1.12 webserver.
Compilation and installation was fine
and added the line to my `/etc/httpd/httpd.conf'
Include /etc/httpd/jserv/jserv.conf
The web server failed to restart on my linux `/sbin/init.d/apache restart'.
The script just refuses to start at all with the above inclusion. If I remove it
the server comes up fine! What gives?
I looked in `/var/log/httpd.errors' and `/var/log/httpd.access' and also
`/var/log/messages'
I could find nothing wrong.
I am using named virtual server hosts and the AjpServerMountCopy is `on'.
Is there any other log files where else I can look?
Is there a problem with this new JServ and virtual hosts?
Should I try JServ with out virtual hosts?
