Hello, everyone.
I apologize beforehand if this type of post isn't suitable for the mailing
list. I was wondering if someone might be able to recommend a good book
that discusses the use of Java Servlets with JDBC programming. I'm
particularly interested in how developers deal with master-detail
relationships, picklists, grids and their presentation on HTML pages. Any
online resources or projects would also be of great use to me.
I come from a thick client (Java applications) background and I now
recognize that I no longer have the luxury of visual, databound javabeans to
depend on. I'm currently practicing servlet programming on Apache JServ
from Jason Hunter's "Java Servlet Programming". The book is excellent, but
I'll soon need something more focused with servlets and JDBC. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick Katsifarakis
