One advantage that looks good from my perspective is the administration
abilities of iPlanet. I know that the LDAP server is needed to do this,
and I don't like that one bit. However, I like the sound of being able
to administer all my machines (3 right now; 4 coming soon) from one
central location.

Out of curiosity, is there a Linux based utility that allows for remote
editing and synching of .conf files? Does anyone use something like that
now to administer multiple machines?
