Hi, I'm trying to get Apache 1.3.12 and JServ 1.1 set up on a HP-UX 11.0
box. I'm getting totally stymied just trying to build Apache. I get the
following
during the configure phase:
cd ..; gcc -DHPUX11 -DNO_DBM_REWRITEMAP -DUSE_HSREGEX -DUSE_EXPAT
-I./l
ib/expat-lite -O `./apaci` -o helpers/dummy helpers/dummy.c -lm
-lpthread
as: "/var/tmp/ccWc418b.s", line 14: error 1052: Directive name not
recognized -NSUBSPA
as: "/var/tmp/ccWc418b.s", line 36: error 1052: Directive name not
recognized -NSUBSPA
My questions are these:
1. Can anyone tell me what causes this and how to fix it? I'm guessing
there might
be an OS patch for HP that I am missing?
2. If not - if I download the _binary_ distribution of Apache for HP, will
that
make it impossible for me to link in JServ? or will i end up having the
same problem when I try to configure JServ?
