Hi,
I just installed Apache JServe a couple of days and I am slowly making
progress towards running my first servlet. I am trying to connect to the
servlet using an applet. The repository I am using is
d:\Program Files\Apache JServ 1.1.2\servlets\development\
In the applet I am trying to call it using the lines:
URL url = new URL("http://localhost:8007/development/CalendarServlet");
String qry = URLEncoder.encode("qry") + "=" +
URLEncoder.encode(qryString);
URLConnection uc = url.openConnection();
etc..........
This is the message sent to my applet :
Status: 400 Bad Request
Servlet-Error: Malformed data sent to JServ
When I open the jserv logs I see:
[30/08/2000 11:30:02:953 CDT] AJP Protocol Error: java.io.IOException:
Stream broken
This occurrs everytime I try to run the applet. Can anyone offer any
insight??? I apologize if this is a redundant question but the "new-faq"
has been down some this morning and I have been unable to browse it.
