There is no plan to move Jserv itself to anything above 2.0. That is
what the Tomcat development is all about, as well as adding other
functionality. There really is no future for Jserv except maybe some
small bug fixes (If even that...). If you want greater than 2.0 API,
take a look at Tomcat. From what I hear it is progressing nicely. It is
Jserv's replacement.
