I had re-configured Apache with the --enable-module=so switch, but I
also needed --enable-rule=SHARED_CORE.
I found this info in the howto.unix_install.html file located in the
docs/install subdirectory of the ApacheJServ source distribution.
I hope this will help someone in the future.
