That means your VM is heavy to process job. So when Apache try to ping VM,
VM can not reply. So a new VM may start. Under this case, some requests
lost. Check your code and environment such as database. Sometime database is
so slow that when ping come, no time to reply. Sometime the sending rate is
too fast. Debug it.

Hi,

I am using Apache 1.3.9 with JServ 1.0 on Redhat linus 6.0.
I am getting the following error:

EMERGENCY _ ajp12: ping : no reply
ERROR : an error handling request via protocol ajpv12.

I am trying to send about 50 requests at the rate of 5 per second.
Some requests process fine while others return the above mentioned error.

Please HELP!!!!!!!
